What makes a school food allergy aware? It might be that they are peanut-free, and they enforce such very well. It might be that they have all the teachers trained in EpiPen administration, or they provide accommodations written on a Health Care Plan or 504 Plan. Any and all of these might qualify a school as food allergy aware.
